Community Celebration - The Opening of the New Library/Radio Station Building October 3rd, 2009

Tina Tudor, Nathan Hale 9th Grade Coordinator and Rebuild Facilitator, JoAnne Branch, former math teacher at Hale and Seattle Public Schools Board member Peter Meier celebrate the opening of the new Library and Radio Station.
The completion of Project 1B (new library, radio station, visual art classrooms and fitness center) was celebrated on October 3rd with an open house for students, staff, alumni, and community members. As part of the event, visitors were able to tour the new spaces and the entire school was open for self-guided tours of the old building, allowing one "last look" before it is remodeled as part of the next phase of construction. The school's radio station, KNHC C89.5, held a reunion for past students and employees, as they relocate to their new space and begin broadcasting in October.
